Arouet Foundation now manages the Televerde Endowment for New Scholars (TENS) through Arouet Foundations 501(c)(3) Tax Exemption.

 

TENS Mission
The mission of the Televerde Endowment for New Scholars (TENS) is to empower women who are reentering society to realize their life goals through higher education.

Empowerment through Education
The TENS program is built upon the foundation that learning and education are the great equalizer. We believe that no matter where you started, with a thirst for knowledge, you can climb higher. Currently, the TENS program only awards scholarships to employees of the Televerde company, who have already completed 60 units of college credit. The scholarship is applied directly to the College of choice, to offset Tuition or Fees for upper division work that leads to the completion of a Bachelors degree. This 501(c)(3) program was created to assist women who have been released from Prison and are working to achieve their educational goals while striving for improved quality of life.
